The Blue Patriarchy Boosts Tendency Toward Establishing Feministic Norms
Patriarchy encourages the tendency toward feminism.
Women who have been deprived of their rights tend to retaliate against those who their natural joy.
They tend to begrudgingly hunt the opposite sex in general regardless of the fact if they are friend or foe; although this situation may seem to be preposterous to us. These women want to become the real boss and are after power. As a matter of fact most feminists are sadists.
They are affection-oriented. So such a batch of women must be inoculated at once by the vaccine of love. Feroid postulates that love is a kind of vaccine which contains the disease of war. There has been a long war between these women and their male counterparts, this disease of war can be contained by giving the injection of love to women.
The woman driver in the film(Mahta) wants to revenge any man she comes across. Her psychological motive is her father's lack of affection towards her. However, Arastoo(the leading man in the film) tactfully treats her and by paying heed to Mahta causes her to experience internal transformation.
In the film you see a portrait of Don Quixote. It does signify a patriarchal father who deals with illusions of this kind. He is a paper tiger and is afraid of his own shadow.
Troughout the film, there is a motif;namely, consecutive repetition of the color "blue". This is significant. It signifies peace, quiet, and adoration. It reminisces Sohrab Sepehri's ''The Blue Room''.In this artwork, Sepehri's childhood contemplations are reflected. His family saw a snake in this blue room and immediately left it; from then on it was vacant. However Sepehri himself frequented the place and was aware of some beauties associated with this room. He was a deep person.
By the same token, the blue rooms in this film are significant and only understanding people can discover these beauties.
Blue objects are around us all the time but only a few people can appreciate them. In this film, they act as the elixir of life and boost purity and happiness. At the end of the film everything is BLUE; this sacred color does miracles; it cures the feminist heroine and mutual understanding proves possible. Finally the film ends melodramatically.
